The Challenge

  • Hammerson wanted to learn more about the customers using their shopping centres across the UK & France.
  • Unlike the retailers using their space, they had no data on customers, and they knew they could use this to increase footfall and better negotiate rental rates with retailers.
  • Working with Transform, another Engine company, Hammerson designed an app capable of pushing real-time offers and vouchers via beacon technology.

Our Solution

  • Fuel seamlessly integrated data from app usage with the spatial data from the on-site beacons to provide a 360* view of individual customer behaviour.
  • On top of this, Fuel overlaid a campaign management tool capable of optimising the content each customer received across app, email and SMS.
  • This ensured each customer was receiving relevant, real-time and personalised messaging.
